the gun is built like that cause it's a ground support weapon and needs to be grounded cause of the weight and recoil force and the clip is too big to fit on the other side so it makes perfect sense

You your aiming down sights u can hardly look to the left xD id like to see this in BF3..

Yea but i held one of these once and i could of course look straight, but a friend snook up on my left side and i didnt see him. (this was a airsoft round, i had a gun modified like this cuz we had about it in school and i needed to test it)
