He also kept his sword and everyone of the Fellowshippers tattoed themselves with "nine" written in Tengwar alphabet.

Every one of the Fellowshippers were such bros, when I watched the 2 hour making-of I was 17x times more in love with the movies than before.

I mentioned this the last time this was posted too:

Viggo's a straight up badass. He knows six different languages, always does his own stunts on horses, has bought both his horses from LOTR and Hidalgo, is a jazz musician with two or three records, and paints.
Then for the Lord of the Rings, he would get so in to character that the director would call him Aragorn off screen and Mortenson wouldn't even notice. He broke his tooth during a fight scene and asked the makeup artist to glue it back on so he could continue shooting, Also, he learned the elvish language and asked for more screentime of him speaking it.

Not to mention he's a sexy beast as Aragorn. So yeah, I'm a little obsessed.

As well as breaking his toe kicking the Urakai Helmet in Two towers, only because Jackson thought Viggo could do better. He broke his toe kicking it and turned that pain into one of the best emotion parts of the film.

Another cool thing about Viggo and LOTR...He stayed in character most of the time even when at home, between takes, ect...He was so convincing, that at many times the director, Peter Jackson and others , called him as Aragorn, rather than Viggo. Talk about skills.

And during the shooting of Sam kissing Rosie, Viggo off camera full open mouth kissed Dominic Monahan by surprise, so that Sean Astin would have a funny smile after the kiss.

Walked between sets in his costume, so it would look more worn and realistic

Even more! In Two Towers, when Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas arrives at the fire with the burnt Uruks, Aragorn (Viggo) kicks a helmet and breaks his toe, and kept playing. The scream he lets out in the film is of real pain!

Indeed he is, but my favorite character in LOTR has to be Aragon.
Love the actor, love the character both in the book and the movie!

Hah, fair enough. My favorite character(s) are Saruman and Gandalf. Because Christopher Lee and Ian McKellen are the toughest old sonsabitches I know. Full respect for them.

Yeah, Ian McKellen is pretty badass, love the actor and the way he formed Gandalf in the movie.
Christoffer Lee played in SW if i am not wrong?

Yup, Christopher Lee was Count Dooku in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Put Lee or McKellen or BOTH in a movie and you just can't go wrong.

Lee was also Willy Wonka's dad in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Just wanted everyone to know.
