it's a brain thing, most people can't remember exactly what happened or what had been said, so they just reïnvent it, and they fool themselves it's exactly what happened, and when you tell them it's not, they get pissed, and when you show them proof, they act like nothing happened

The brain thing is called a perception error in my circles (not sure if there is a "correct" term). We actually do it all the time. By the time you finish this sentence your brain will have perceived a completely different syntax. This is because our subconscious (especially in the frontal lobe) perceives more information than our working memory can store. Thus, everything is shortened to save room and we "forget" all the specific details. Because we forgot these details before we recorded them into the working memory, they essential don't exist. And this is why people can swear to an altered event. In their minds, it IS reality. And don't even get me started on the perception of reality itself; just thinking about it makes my head spin. Anyway, you learn something new every day.

Look at it from this sense then. He or she is the first person to take a picture of this yearbook page and post it on funny junk that we are aware of. As far as we know nobody has taken a picture of this particular yearbook page and put it here. Therefore by funnyjunk standards it is oc. Never did he/she claim that the quote was theirs, just that they found it in their yearbook and found it hilarious and out of a act of kindness decided to share the funny with the users of funnyjunk. Now if you could find another screenshot of this particular post then your argument is valid, until then it isn't and therefore your argument is INVALID.
