This is based on an actual radio conversation between a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier (U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln) and Canadian authorities off the coast of Newfoundland in October, 1995

Canadians: Please divert your course 15 degrees to the South to avoid collision.
Americans: Recommend you divert your course 15 degrees to the North to avoid a collision.
Canadians: Negative. You will have to divert your course 15 degrees to the South to avoid a collision.
Americans: This is the Captain of a US Navy ship. I say again, divert YOUR course.
Canadians: No, I say again, you divert YOUR course.
Americans: THIS IS THE AIRCRAFT CARRIER USS LINCOLN, THE SECOND LARGEST SHIP IN THE UNITED STATES' ATLANTIC FLEET. WE ARE ACCOMPANIED BY THREE DESTROYERS, THREE CRUISERS AND NUMEROUS SUPPORT VESSELS. I DEMAND THAT YOU CHANGE YOUR COURSE 15 DEGREES NORTH--I SAY AGAIN, THAT'S ONE FIVE DEGREES NORTH--OR COUNTER-MEASURES WILL BE UNDERTAKEN TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF THIS SHIP.
Canadians: This is a lighthouse. Your call.

I'm not too familiar with military terms and all so I might be wrong but ...

Why is a marine in an aircraft?

Well, as criticizing Nationalism gets you inundated with red thumbs I'll simply point out how obviously ******** this is - do you really think that a Marine would potentially cause a diplomatic incident with an already hostile region for such a retarded reason?

Really everyone? Really? For the most part they have euro-funny junk has a point, this guy risked war for no reason other than to show off. But Euro-funny junk feels the need to just start **** for the sake of starting **** . Yes, America is very sorry that wealthy ignorant families always vacation in Europe. But please, we're all fighting for the defense of western civilization. Why can't we go back to the things used to be?

If that conversation is real, then it just show how America is, just because their military is strong at the moment dont give them the right to be cocky.

Poland army is best army, and here's why.
>Horses
>Ecofriendly ************* horses
>Reliable goddamn sexy horses.
>I would **** some of the horses we have over here
>I have ****** some of the horses we have over here.

Picture this: Valiant soldiers riding into battle... ON ************* HORSES!
Not convinced yet?
Boom.
Imagine a field filled with horses.
Now double the amount of horses in the field.
Now quadruple them.
Now take away half.
That's how many goddamn horses the ************* Polish army has.

1.) 121.5 is a commercial emergency ELT (Emergency Locater Transmitter) Frequency.
2.) An ELT is a device built in the back of a commercial planes tail and it is activated when the plane crashes which sends out high pitched warning sounds (I know this because I was taught how to use an ELT locater to locate downed aircraft)
3.) There are 3 different ELT Frequencies. 406 for big-ass airliners, 121.5 for private commercial planes, and 243 for military aircraft.
4.) Why would military be on 121.5 (commercial/private frequency)
5.) Again you can't talk on these frequencies

Therefore, this story is complete ********** .

Reminds me of this story about an american battleship off the coast of Newfoundland.

>A Canadian came on their radio and advised them to change course to avoid collision.
>The Commander of the ship told the Canadians they needed to change course, they weren't moving.
>They went back and forth like this for a bit.
>Eventually the Commander threatened to open fire to protect their vessel.
>The Canadian Coast Guard calmly responded "Bring it on, this is a lighthouse."
