I feel worse because while I saw the spelling error I didn't get the word play until you explained it.

Such a shame we failed our Protestant brothers and they turned out so poorly

The Holy Roman Catholic Church has stated the Truth of Evolution to be True in all regards . The baptists and protestantism are heretics to the Christian faith . As Saint.Thomas Aquinas said ' The lord had not blessed us with a mind to be unthinking' He also cast down biblical literalism in the Second century a ideology the Catholic Faith has always pertained .

Oh wait this is FJ

dinosaurs are mentioned in the book of job
Job 40:15–24
15 “Look now at the 3behemoth, which I made along with you;
He eats grass like an ox.
16 See now, his strength is in his hips,
And his power is in his stomach muscles.
17 He moves his tail like a cedar;
The sinews of his thighs are tightly knit.
18 His bones are like beams of bronze,
His ribs like bars of iron.
19 He is the first of the mways of God;
Only He who made him can bring near His sword.
20 Surely the mountains nyield food for him,
And all the beasts of the field play there.
21 He lies under the lotus trees,
In a covert of reeds and marsh.
22 The lotus trees cover him with their shade;
The willows by the brook surround him.
23 Indeed the river may rage,
Yet he is not disturbed;
He is confident, though the Jordan gushes into his mouth,
24 Though he takes it in his eyes,
Or one pierces his nose with a snare."
the behemoth is believed to be a dinosaur

Ironically, the guy misspelled "dumb ass" by putting the two words together. "Dumb ass" is not a prefix.

Yes, I know that he meant to spell it evilution but I didn't get it at first so I made a joke about it.

I still don't understand why some people believe intelligent design is incompatible with evolution. (mostly ranting at the fundamentalists, here)

to my atheist comrades: its great you want to throw your future away and think that everyone thinks you are smarter or something like that, but this is funny junk, not atheism-which-is-junk. so politely stop making war with Christians, which is who all your arguments go to any way, and get a life (eternal one preferably)
User avatar #29 to #7 - patrickmiller (05/15/2012) [-]
Your making war with them by saying Atheism is dumb there is no need to say things or come back at Atheist just do the Christian thing, forgive them and hold your anger deep inside and go home and beat your kids to get it out! OK maybe not that last part
#43 to #7 - John Cena (05/15/2012) [-]
I hardly see how choosing not to believe in some ominous being, that hasn't been "seen" or "heard from" in thousands of years, and has no credible evidence to support its existence is "throwing your life away"
User avatar #25 - brettyoke (05/15/2012) [-]
I don't think evolution is evil or bad in anyway. I merely disagree with it.

Just like scientists don't believe in Christianity because they can't see it, have no records of it happening, no evidence, ect. I don't believe in evolution.

However, in this case, the guy on the stool was the moron. He started it...
User avatar #36 to #25 - spikethepony (05/15/2012) [-]
not sure if trolling....
or just a bit ignorant.
Whatever the case, I (unlike doubtlessly great numbers of fellow funnyjunkers) bear you no ill will, and I will tolerate your view so long as you do not directly attack me or my beliefs.

There are experiments that have been preformed in the past century where we have been able to observe minor evolution right in front of our eyes.
User avatar #45 to #42 - brettyoke (05/16/2012) [-]
True, and I apologize everyone. I misworded. My intention was to state that there is very little evidence. Yes, we can observe evolution occuring in microspace, but whether or not humans were formed from it is merely a theory.

We Christians also have observed things that make us think our God is with us, such as miracles that occur or writings of past times (writings that formed the Bible). However, we don't have as many scientists studying Christianity and we also lack pure 100% proof of our God's existance, just as science cannot present pure 100% proof of evolution.

Not trying to argue with you, just expanding on my previous statement.
User avatar #46 to #45 - AlfredNeuman (05/16/2012) [-]
We have much more solid proof, such as fossil records and being able to compare the DNA sequences of different animals to prove their relationships. (did you know human and chimp DNA are 99% similar?).
I cannot, however, refute your argument about witnessing miracles and religious texts because i simply was not there to prove or disprove their happening, however it is notable that the, I'm missing the word... degree/intensity(?) of the miracles of god have declined in the past few hundred years because there simply haven't been any major acts of God such as sending his son or speaking to us in the stereotypically deep, booming voice (or whatever major miracles happened thousands of years ago, I'm simply not familiar with them)
