ACTUALLY,

Oxygen and Potassium would make K2O,

and Magnesium and Oxygen would make MgO,

ACTUALLY,
you need to stop being a retard. in an ionic bond between a metal and a nonmetal, the metal comes first, so it would be K2O and MgO. so maybe you need to go back to 9th grade science class where i learned all this ****

The majority of elements are metals, alkaline metals, and transition metals. Of 118 elements, only 34 don't fall into those categories.

potassium, even though it is alkali metal, in its natural unaltered state is not a metal. its a crystal.

Crystal is not a category of elements. i.e. A elemental metal can be a crystal.

Quite the contrary, you cannot be retarded to learn science but I agree. I'm in the process of becoming a theoretical theorist.

Pretty cool. I'm taking honors chem right now and I'm taking AP next year. How hard was it, especially that AP test? >.>

The AP test multiple choice was really easy. The Free response was pretty hard for me. The class and Ap test aren't that hard if you do work and study etc.
