Thor doesn't have a beard and doesn't wear that helm. But good job at picking out the hammer they share in common.

As a person who has majored in Norse mythology I must say that while it is true that Oden has been depicted with a hammar and there are stories that tell of him using one, but there are no specific connection between Oden and the hammer.

Odens characteristic weapon was a spear named Gungner while Tors characteristic weapon was a hammer named Mjölner, both made by The Sons of Ivaldes at the request of Loke.

Trivial knowledge for those who like Norse mythology, The Sons of Ivaldes was a brotherhood of dwarfs who crafted many of the Norse Gods', weapons and jewelry.

(on a side note, I'm using the original spelling of the names, so dont go all butt hurt and yell "It's spelled Odin, Thor, Mjolnir and Gungnir") :P

If you had read my first post you should have understood that I was going with the idea of it being Tor (if not you should have read my other post where I clearify to all retards that I was pointing out that it was Tor)

And shut the **** up you little inbred.
Mimers well, "The well of wisdom" being located under one of the world tree Yggdrasil's roots in Norse mythology, is the well where Oden gave one of his eyes as a sacrifice for wisdom.

Odin gave his eye to Mimer. He plucked it out and threw it into Mimer's well, so he would be allowed to drink from it and learn it's knowledge and secrets.

ok. that is thor.. in the REAL STORIES and not the comic books thor has a beard, wears a helm and has red hair.

this picture is of thor telling us what odin promised..

if you really thought that was odin. and only knew about the marvel version of him where he is a blondie. you should go read an actual book about nors mythology. you might learn something.

Now there is a good fact. Although he sacraficed his eye for wisdom, this could have been taken before-hand. On a side-note I found this randomly on the internet and as we all know, everything on the internet is legit.
