You can't prove God exists.

You can't prove a floating teapot floats around in the void of space.

Burden of proof is on the believer. Just because you can't disprove something, doesn't mean its a viable option. Why is god an exception?

However, I kind of get why it's somewhat different. Hence my Agnostic Atheism. No way to know for sure I suppose. However, we can know for sure whether certain religious aspects are ******** . Maybe not god specifically, but the rest? Yup.

Burden of proof is with the christians though. We can't prove leprechauns or dragons don't exist but that isn't an argument. Atheists are doubting a claim. Therefore for the claim to be valid it has to prove any reasonable doubts wrong, if it can't then people may believe it but it is classed as irrational.

"You can't prove I killed my wife!"
"Well, sir. You can't prove you didn't. We're taking you downtown."

The man receives death sentence. Turns out a ****** named Tyrone did it.

We simply can't have beliefs in our society, we need evidence for this and that. And if there truly is a God, he abonded us 1200 years ago, as he hasn't shown himself since then.

"We can't have beliefs in our society"

Innocent until proven guilty. If there was absolutely zero evidence that the man killed his wife, he wouldn't of been sentenced. Remember the Casey Anthony case? She didn't go to prison because they couldn't find enough evidence to convict her of murder, not because they found evidence proving otherwise.

Yes, that's the way the justice system works, because the "guilty until proven innocent" tactic didn't work out so well. I'm just trying to shed some light upon this that God hasn't been around lately enough that he would matter or exist.
