First, to be gay is nat an insult! It' s a choice! Second, feel

LET ME SHOW YOU!
This is what' s annoying, being gay is not a choice.
It' s not like people wake up one
morning thinking: Hmm, I think I' ll be
gay/ straight/ bi/ tran now.
It' s a choice to accept your sexual
orientation, but you can' t choose what
orientation you' d like to have or what
kind of people you' d like to feel
attracted to.
Anyone out there feeling the same way?

Homosexuality is likely a mixture of biological, psychological, and inherent trait. Biologically - hormonal differences, which can be affected by genes, but also external factors. Psychologically - experiences with women, men, and general cultural upbringing may alter the strength of sexuality and androgyny over time. Inherently - homosexual males have significantly smaller bundles of neurons in the INAH3 (the third interstitial nucleus of the anterior hypothalamus of the brain), a trait that they are likely born with.

How an individual becomes homosexual is probably different for each case, with slight variations in those 3 factors. There are likely to be extremes where only one of these factors lead to homosexuality, but the numbers are probably few compared to the general development of homosexuality.

In my opinion, biological and inherent factors are much stronger determinants of homosexuality. Mainly because when I am sexually attracted to a female, it is something that I could not control or choose. However, I do believe that psychology and choice can play a role. There are cases of heartbreak where an individual simply loses all sexual attraction towards a gender, due to the trauma. In these cases, it is POSSIBLE to make a choice towards hermit-hood or homosexuality. Then again, perhaps these individuals were born bisexual.

TL;DR: who the hell knows? If we are generalizing, though, it's best not to say one factor is the sole cause of homosexuality.
