Evolution

Furry yesss! facebook.com/cresilfur

I saw this newspaper entitles on the intenet:
Scientists who study evolution new suspect that humans evolved
short toes, such as the pining toe, because they can help us run fast
for long distances. From an evolutionary standpoint' scientists
believe, the ability to run fast enabled early humans to hunt larger,
faster prey, especially herd animals, This may have enabled early
humans to meet the meta re moments netissa for the loveth
of a large brain. Some evolutionary scientists believe if human'
evolution is allowed to continue on its current track, the smallest fifth
toe on the foot will eventually disappear. since it serves little purpose
in modern human life.

I do not understand how it will disappear, evolution dictates that species will selectively breed to create the most fit offspring, but that would mean women would have to select and naturally breed with people that have only four toes, at least according to the Darwinian theory, the view presented in the article is clearly Lamarckian.

Lamarckism states that every being has an inner force, that keeps making into something more sofisticated and larger. I don't see how losing your toe is Lamarckism.

Lamarckian evolution I mean, in the context that if someone wills them self to have no little toe, that their offspring will also lack it. I may be wrong though, I've only got a general understanding of all this.

some people might still need that toe..

Wait, doesn't the 5th toe serve as a thing to help you balance?

Stop being such a big ***** evolution

DO IT

The key to evolution is natural selection, and since human beings have eliminated a great deal of this, our evolution is very limited. If scientists can't even figure that out its pretty sad.

That last sentence made no sense. There will be no major human evolution happening anymore. We've stabilized ourselves. That would mean the environment would selects for people with no small toes (ie those are the only people who reproduce)

Eventually we will lose our pinky toes, the hair on our head, man ******* , and our appendix.
User avatar #425 to #363 - xiotio (04/28/2012) [-]
pinky toes, probably not. Nothing makes people with pinky toes more likely to die off, so they'll remain. The hair on our head actually serves a purpose in blocking the sunlight from burning our scalps, and thus prevents melanoma, so hair'll probably stay too. Man ******* , well, I say man ******* are ornamental now, and make guys more manly, so more sex for men with ******* and they stay.
The only one we might get rid of is the appendix, mostly because it has the chance of getting infected, which has a small mortality rate attached. It'll definitely take a while, but I guess it'll happen.
