I love these posts, because the cannibis leaves out most of the information. There are thousands of deaths connected to cannabis, mostly driver related, since it ALSO IMPAIRS JUDGEMENT AND REACTION TIME.

Like alcohol, marijuana can and will impair most peoples judgement.

Now you might say; "I've never gotten into the car high, I know better"

Well my counter is this: "I have been drunk off my ass, slurring my words, falling over and occasionally throwing up. I still knew not to get into my car because I could kill someone, most importantly myself."

It affects everyone differently because everyone has a different tolerance to substances. The fact is, cannabis is a drug, and ALL drugs affect you in some negative light, though maybe not as bad as others.

I'm not saying don't smoke pot, I'm just saying don't be ignorant because you like something.

Only around 1% of traffic fatalities (40,000) involve someone with marijuana in their system. Of that 1% only 6.5% were found to have only marijuana in their systems. That's around 26 traffic fatalities a year in the US that involve only marijuana.

Nah I'm not trying to be ignorant to everything, I like weed and I was trying to get a point across to how people automatically believe it to be a 'killer' drug because its illegal.

And for the deaths involving cannabis, I never said it hasn't caused any deaths, I'm not saying that at all, I simply said its never been DIRECTLY linked to cause a death.. AKA overdosing, dying from illnesses due to consumption, etc.

So when you say that thousands of deaths are connected to cannabis, remember there will always be deaths connected to anything, ANYTHING can kill you, so using the fact that it is linked to thousands of deaths every year isn't a valid point when there's also thousands of deaths linked to eating peanuts every year.
