It's not been directly translated. Translating back again, it roughly says; Jaws of death.

Because it would sound directly stupid if translated by the word.    
Dødens Gab is the closest definition to the original title IMO, as it means "the Jaws of Death" Jaws could alternately be translated to just "gab", but that also means "Yawn".

Jaws in danish is "Kæber" not "gab". However it's true that the translation is good.
