Purplexingly, i can watch porn involving stuff from my past i can deal with gorn, i can deal with all the horrors that /b/ can offer me

But pure nostalgia, mother ******* unleaded nostalgia, it always ALWAYS ******* tears me up, i don't cry, but my eyes swell thinking of a time things were less ****** , and it seriously pisses me off, of all the things my Leathery Hide can absorb and deflect, that scene from Land before time with the dead of little foots mom, to something as simple as the seseme street theme, makes me tear

Scum Bag Feels...

I know those feels well my friend.
The two scenes from any show that always get me is One: In Avatar: The last Airbender in "Tales of Bah Sing Sae" when Iroh is crying by his sons grave while singing, and in The Fresh Prince when Wills dad comes back then leaves again and after a long, angry speech of why he didn't need him he turns to uncle Phil and says "Why don't he want me man?"
Every. Damn. Time.

those episodes are probably my favorite ones...so emotional
User avatar #279 to #272 - trimageryan (04/13/2012) [-]
I feel like this exact scene is where Will Smith went from being just some run-of-the-mill funny actor to people realizing that he can be very serious and emotional with his roll. James Avery was also fantastic in this.

Yeah I know what you mean. That episode of Avatar also showed that Hiro wasn't a cold-blooded Fire Nation general (although I kinda knew he had a big heart before this episode) and that he could also have feels
User avatar #288 to #283 - trimageryan (04/13/2012) [-]
Oh definitely, we all knew Iroh was a brilliantly wise old man but it was wonderful to see how he still has his regrets that he can never solve even with all his earthly wisdom. That is the exact reason I loved Avatar, it was so deep, especially for a Nickelodeon show.
I absolutely hated the movie adaptation because they cut out almost all of the important subtext from episodes that really showed the strengths and weaknesses of the characters. All their fears, insecurities, and doubts weren't there so they seemed like any other infallible hollywood character.
User avatar #291 to #288 - zigzagderpaderp (04/13/2012) [-]
Which is why I will never watch it! You know what sucks? I don't have Nickelodeon anymore so I can't watch the premiere of The Legend of Korra this weekend :(

Then my friend, I have a gift for you. The first two episodes of LOK are available on iTunes right now for free in HD and Standard Def. Go get them, they are fantastic. They even lived up to my incredibly high expectations. Here's the link.

Oh my god I love you <3 but what about future episodes? :'(
User avatar #314 to #310 - trimageryan (04/13/2012) [-]
Not a problem mate.
Future episode will probably also be on iTunes though maybe not for free. But, we can find a way around that. Trust me, I take care of a fellow Avatar lover ^-^

in 2010, one movie broke my then 4-5 year streak of never crying (stright up, bawling) in the film, and it is actually my sole reason for hating that film, it broke me like no other movie had sense i was 10

Wondering what the film is? I'll give you one guess, and the hint is the image

god, i cannot watch toy story 2......the feels, the feels everywhere
User avatar #260 to #257 - franklyimaperson (04/13/2012) [-]
It was Toy Story 3 that really broke me, the 'Claw' scene weakened my defences, then BLAM, that ending hit me like a brick wall at 50

Hmmm.....It was Iron Man. Has to be.
Picture unrelated.
User avatar #250 to #243 - franklyimaperson (04/13/2012) [-]
Totally, i mean do you know how deep the iron man films are if you pretend his Arc Reactor is a crippling addiction to Cocaine

Well then it's just a movie about Robert Downey Jr on an average Wednesday, isn't it?
User avatar #259 to #254 - franklyimaperson (04/13/2012) [-]
Which is why it is so Dark, Robert has had a troubled time with drugs sense he was 8, because his father both supplied and encouraged its use, it (saddly) became the only thing they shared, Downey Sr being a stern and unloving man (this is based of a little bit a research i did a while back on him, not positive if all the information was valid)

Which is why I respect him so much more as an actor, to be able to push past all that and still act as well as he does is nothing short of amazing.
Defiantly one of my top 3 favorite actors.
