Scotland and everywhere else on the British Isles says it like that

I'm one of the few English that actually loves Scotland, but come on man, that's just British speak, not Scottish

This is a joke. Don't take it so seriously. My above comment: Also a joke, don't take that so seriously, either.

Never played TF2, have you?
User avatar #101 to #37 - vicsix (04/08/2012) [-]
And, sadly, no. But I understood enough that not many people would get the reference on a non-tf2 post.

The Soldier is also a rather hilarious parody of gung-ho militaristic Americans, especially during WWII and the relevant time period.
User avatar #105 to #101 - blokrokker ONLINE (04/08/2012) [-]
Mm, true. I suppose that's not the best pic of the Soldier I could have found, either. It's rather obvious (and hilarious, imo) if you know who the Soldier is. That's one of his lines if you kill a player a certain number of times in a row (without him killing you) while that player is playing the Demoman (a Scotsman, and my favorite class) while you play as the Soldier.

#118 to #22 - odonnell (04/08/2012) [-]
You thought it would be a good idea, to go on a post about Scotland, then diss Scottish people?
User avatar #182 to #118 - blokrokker ONLINE (04/08/2012) [-]
I probably should have thought that through a little bit, huh? I suppose it's PARTIALLY because that's a bad pic of the Soldier, so not as many people got it (that and I have no idea how many Scottish people play TF2). But yeah, I suppose that comment could have used a little more foresight.
User avatar #120 to #118 - odonnell (04/08/2012) [-]
PS. Im aware that its a TF2 thing, but you're still bringing it into the post.

The current monarchy of britain is from scottish descent, when England and Scotland had different rulers. When Englands monarchy died out, the closest living relative was James the 6th of Scotland, who then became James the 1st in England. So no, the countries are seperate but joined by a union.
#80 to #58 - anon (04/08/2012) [-]
you seem to have skipped 400 years of history there, where the royal family was completely replaced at least twice.
