Catacombs 3D had the Wolfenstein engine before Wolfenstein made the Wolfenstein engine cool.

Then why are you asking about the Elder Scrolls? Outside of RAGE, Bethesda and their works are completely unrelated to id.

You hurt my brain. Good day, sir.

I bought it for $15 and it was well good for the money. It is a nice little objective game to play with friends.

no, why? is minecraft's engine relative to the other engines?
User avatar #74 to #56 - longdeadhero (04/05/2012) [-]
I expected a pic of mine craft because of how the engines were steadily improving... and after being on this web site for so long i expected it to turn in a whole new direction.

Doom was a ******* masterpiece. I would walk around each area just listening to the sounds and finding all the secret areas. I actually played through the game on normal without dying once. <3 **** yeah Doom! Pic related it was my favorite level.

RAGE was actually one hell of game. It was a bit to short, but still there was always something to do. It had a good story line flow and everything was filled in at the end.
User avatar #60 to #47 - keiishiyama (04/04/2012) [-]
I'm still playing it, but it's not my kind of game. It was fun in the beginning, but the gameplay started to get stale pretty fast.
User avatar #71 to #60 - talkingmouth (04/04/2012) [-]
Id call it a limited roam game, because the maps are a bit to small and there isn't much off trek driving. I never really played the online though.

I played brink for a week before I realized that the enemies were NPCs.
I thought I was just really good at multiplayer.

Growing up on id First Person Shooters was the way to go. Rage was the last single player FPS that I played, and Quake 2 is still my choice FPS for LANs. Can't wait for what comes in the future :D

I ******* loved Sin and heretic 2

Did anyone ever play C&C renegade?
#38 to #37 - kdyzol (04/04/2012) [-]
dude yes except I could never get past that level were you get a jeep and your team matesend up dying. it was like a city thing and starts with a bunker where you save the dude with the minigun.
User avatar #41 to #38 - touriopalfreyman (04/04/2012) [-]
I think I got further than that, I remember getting to some cave level where you fight NOD commandos and for some reason I kept dying, I think they had tiberium guns that keep on doing damage, and it just didn't stop.
#42 to #41 - kdyzol (04/04/2012) [-]
oh no dude i got their i beleive those were like some chemical plant type guys in white suits and later you storm a beach right?
User avatar #46 to #42 - touriopalfreyman (04/04/2012) [-]
Yeah, I think so, that was earlier, but later there is a commando with tiberium weapons and it keeps doing damage, I don't think it should have but I always died after the fight.
#72 to #46 - kdyzol (04/05/2012) [-]
teach me your ways.

anyways i liked red alert 2 better, that game was sick
User avatar #73 to #72 - touriopalfreyman (04/05/2012) [-]
I never could get into that. There's just something cheesy about sending a dolphin at your enemies when you're used to generals sending overlords instead. And actually there is a new mod out, shockwave that makes it really fun.
