This whole controversy is just the media trying to relive their glory days of the Civil Rights Movement.
There are hundreds of black-on-black shootings every week that go completely unreported, but the second a pale Mexican shoots a black guy it's an international incident.

The media is trying to make it look like this was some innocent kid shot in cold blood. They're even showing pictures of him in 8th grade because they'd lose their credibility if they showed what he currently looks like. It's becoming increasingly clear that Trayvon was a thug that attacked and Zimmerman overreacted. The media's going to have egg all over their face.

really so you insist that just by the way he looks they would lose credibility because he looks like a so called "thug" it doesn't matter how he looked they have voice evidence proving that zimmerman confronted him the police told him not to pursue

The police told him "You don't have to do that"
That was advice, not an order.

Here's what I think happened: Zimmerman saw a thug walking through his neighborhood (possibly high according to some reports) it was his duty as neighborhood watch to WATCH him. Trayvon saw that he was being followed and assumed that he was about to be jumped, so he attacked. Zimmerman panicked and shot him.

If you listen to the tape, you hear one of them screaming BEFORE the gun shots go off, so clearly there was a struggle. According to Trayvon's record, it wouldn't be out of character for him to instigate a fight considering that he "swung on dat bus driver" earlier that week.

so you see nothing wrong with what zimmerman did

I think he shouldn't have shot him (in the chest at least), but if you're attacked by a complete stranger you don't know what they're capable of. If you hear the tape, the screaming shows that the fighting was intense. Zimmerman probably thought he was going to die and panicked.

they're not pictures of when he was in 8th grade, they're pictures of when he was in 6th grade

Trayvon Martin was suspiciously walking through Mr. Zimmermans gated community so he called 911 and they told him not to pursue Trayvon and once they told him, he stopped pursuing him. Then he saw Trayvon AGAIN and went out to see what was going on and he had his gun on him for protection. Trayvon started yelling at him and started arguing with him. The argument got heated and Trayvon attacked Zimmerman and started punching him and it wasn't until then which he shot him.

It was PURELY in self-defense and what Zimmerman did isn't prosecutable.
Trayvon WAS the aggressor and according to Florida law, Zimmerman had all rights to fire. In 23 states, if your life is threatened in any way, you have the right to use lethal force. Florida is one of them and he did use lethal force.

Trayvon wasn't exactly a "great kid" either. He'd been suspended from school at least 3 times.

Sergeant Daniel Brown and Captain Aaron Istre are both Marines who died today at ages 27 and 37. Private Christopher Kershaw is a Private who died at age 19 this month.
I find it horrifying people are giving Trayvon Martin more respect than them. They defended this country, he attacked a man after getting Pop and Skittles.

I'm sure the medias been showing you things like this, right?

That picture of Trayvon is 5 years old and the picture of Zimmerman is of him wearing "County Orange"...

This is a more recent picture of both of them.

Just feeding you the facts.

The kid was walking back to his father's house after buying some skittles and a ice tea. If you are honestly trying to defend a guy who shot a kid who reacted to a man FOLLOWING HIM then you need to seriously reevaluate your life.

actually trayvon was walking in his own community this racist saw a black man and assumed he was in danger this kid was on the phone with his girl at the time he told his girl he was being followed and they have the tape of the two talking and you can hear him asking zimmerman why he is following him

what makes you think George was racist?

He was part of the neighborhood watch, he was doing his job...

for real..you are stupid..for real

and either way, not prosecutable.
