I am I the only one who grown to hate all these "realistic" modern style war shooters? They're just so boring... I play games as an escape from reality, I want to **** up a dragon with a bow and arrow or ******* throw chainsaws at zombies! I don't want a ******* simulator of the conflict in the Middle East! I wish I could go back to the old days of sitting and playing Kirby Air Ride with my friends instead of sitting getting abused by 12 year olds on games that get boring after about 3 days.

I wish games nowadays had bosses that you just want to keep going back for more.

It's like you wanna come shoot some guys and get bitched at? It's like no... can't we go fly motorbikes into helicopters on GTA 4 or something else cool like that? Haha. It's either that or they play ******* FIFA! But I suppose that is mainly only a problem to English people :p

i love soccer so i play FIFA often. its just quite intense and enjoyable. i'd take towing a car behind my stolen jumbo and whipping a large tower with it in just cause 2 over soccer most days.

i personally enjoy them, but i see your logic. i too like a game that can sweep me of my feet and transport me to another world, somewhat like tolkiens collection.

Exactly! I can play CoD in small amounts and Battlefield is pretty cool although I don't own it, but I'd rather play something I can fully immerse myself in. Favourite game series recently has definitely been Mass Effect just because of the sheer scale of detail they've put into the world.

am i the only one who just can't stand the steryotype of gaming being comparable to junk food in that it is false advertised, fattening, crap that has had no effort go into it. gaming is as much of an art as films or books. especially games like skyrim. i love fantasy games!

Yeah games are better for the mind than films or TV if you ask me because you're actually developing skills from playing them!
