Play lots of co-op vs AI games before you play normal ones.
Watch the minimap.
call "mia" "ss" "mis" when an enemy champion is missing from your lane.
Watch out for the bushes

Don't feed. Don't try to gank people 5 levels higher than you without heavy backup. DON'T LEAVE GAMES.
That is all.

Feeding is dying repeatedly therefore giving the enemy team gold and experience. Ganking is attempting to kill a player when they least expect it, usually by jumping from a bush or other concealment. Start off by playing Human vs. Bot matches to get the mechanics of the game down and try a whole bunch of different champions, you are bound to find one that clicks well with you. Other than that, good luck and have fun. The community can be harsh at times but its a fun game if you can just remember that it is indeed just a game.

Feed - Intentionally or unintentionally die to the hands of opposing players at an alarming rate, leading to the opposing players having a significant gold and experience lead on you and your team. For example, you play Lux, laning against a Teemo. Teemo gets about 4 early kills on you due to you not knowing about his poison shot. Teemo now has a significant lead on you, due to the exp gain from killing you as well as time spent farming while you are dead and cannot harass him. Teemo is described as being "Fed" while you are a "Feeder". Avoid dying lots of time early game at all costs.
Ganking - To gank is to come out of hiding and charge an enemy champion with the intent of killing them. Ganking is an extrememly important aspect of LoL or any other AoS spinoff games that must be mastered. Understanding when an opponent would come to gank you will help you to either call for your jungler to come counter-gank or to pull back and recall to the Summoner's Platform. The most popular form of telling when your opponent is coming to gank is warding the river while watching the map consistently and when a champion goes MIA (missing in action) for an externded time they are assumed to be jungling or coming to gank. Ganking by example - Ahri just hit lv6 in mid lane and got Spirit Rush. Sees that Rammus has overextended in the bottom lane (bot lane). She leaves the lane to travel through the river to come out behind Rammus and killing him with the usage of her ultimate skill. Ganking is best done by either junglers or champions who are marked as "Assassins" for example Akali, Shaco, Talon.
For more information or a good game, add me on the USA server. Summoner name is Excessum13221.

No problem man. Just do the tutorial and play some Co-op vs AI matches. You'll get the hang of it in no time.
