Firstly... marine snipers' rule is 'Sepmri Fir' not 1 shot 1 kill, and secondly, a barret .50 cal has little to no noticable recoil, that and the body armour marines where, they wouldn't feel a thing.

No the recoil is much greater than a 12 gauge but yes there are 1 maybe or 2 rifles that are more powerful

Actually a barrat .50 has about the same recoil as a 12 gauge it has a active recoil reducer and is not the most powerfull rifle ever made barret makes a 20mm rifle
