Dat son

Me grocery shopping at Walmart.
The mom looks in her basket,
takes out a frozen item and
throws it on a shelf next to the
bread.
Mommy' E in a hurry, dear. T
don' t have time to go back."
It' S not my concern! It' s the
Store' s job to clean up this

When a wild mom and young son
appear!
Mommy, we need to put that
back in the freezer!"
But Mommy, we have to put
that back where we found it.
It will melt and no one else
will buy it!"
Exact words: "Ho Mommy, it' c
not the Store' s job to Clean up
after you."
We need more people like you!"

I'm not trying to be a dick here, but I actually work in a grocery store and it is in fact my specific job to go through the store aisle by aisle and straighten all the products and put everything back where it needs to be and in order... It's nice that someone would say what the kid said but at the same time everyone who shares my job would be out of a paycheck.

i work at one too and yeah it is part of my job, but thats still no excuse to leave your carton of eggs in the cereal isle. i dont **** all over the floors in the mcdonalds restroom with the logic "someone gets paid to clean it up so i might as well make them earn it" thats stupid.

AH NO! Put those pogos back, cause if they go bad, no one will buy them, and the capitalist system will lost .01 cent. Gotta keep the almighty capitalist system moving, it's now a question of morality, even.

Allow me to explain something to you:

When a grocery store loses products due to product damage, expiry, theft or other means; it is called shrinkage.

Shrinkage is an enormous problem for all grocery stores (in particular the one I work at, as we are roughly 50k in debt).
When stores lose money, they do not get bailed out by the corporation that owns them, each individual store is responsible for breaking even (cost meets income) and if they don't, the company that owns the store is basically up **** creek.
As such, hard-working people lose their jobs such as my boss who has been absolutely ******** himself staying back every night trying to solve the problem.

Stores are not massive, evil corporations. They're run by people who want to make a living. While the CEO might be earning a bit more money than he deserves and a few more of the higher-ups may also. It's the people who work in the individual stores that cop the **** when shrinkage grows exponentially.

i worked at publix and closing time was horrible, by the end of the day there will always be 2 or 3 carts full of groceries that customers didnt feel like putting back in the correct place or decided not to buy it once at the register. it would take an hour or two (after closing) putting everything back and blocking the store depending on how many cashiers had to close. it sucks dick. just ******* walk your ass back and put things away correctly. mother ****** .

I JUST got off work, and I work at Walmart, so this made my day. :D You have no idea what associates go through when people throw things in other departments, for instance, I work in the makeup aisle, and people will not only leave things like food packages among the lotions, but they also come in the store with their Tim Horton's coffee cups, and leave them for us to clean up. Hell to the **** no. The amount of white trash that shops there is unbelievable. Oh, and not to mention the amount of stolen items and damaged items every damn day. Rant over.

I wish more people thought like the kid in this comic.

I work at a grocery store in the Dairy department, so I get this all the time. This kid would become my hero if I had seen this.
