Ontario Kukri reporting in. Best 60 dollars I ever spent. This thing chops like an axe.

Only problem is the sheath, it's total crap. I made my own sheath for it out of kydex.

Next on my list to buy is the cold steel gurkha kukri so I can compare the two.

I've handled a CS Kukri at a gun show. It's incredible.

Yeah, thing is the cheapest you could probably get the CS gurkha kukri is 150 dollars if you're lucky.

Don't confuse the CS gurkha kukri with the kukri machetes CS is selling. Totally different beast.

Check out this guy called nutnfancy on youtube and find his video on the gurkha. He chops up a storm.

It was the SK5 version. The cheapo one is comfortable, but that's about it's biggest pro. I've been watching Nutnfancy for a long time man, haha.

Good stuff, I'll have to spring for one some time. My Kershaw Storm has been holding up well, though! :)

i have a Leek, but the safety AND the speedsafe broke. Not impressed. I've heard nothing but good about them though

Kershaw safeties do tend to be fragile. But the storm isn't assisted opening, and it just keeps chugging along! What's your favorite pocket knife in the neighborhood of $50 and under? (Broke. Haha)

Not trying to sound like a total badass or anything (haha), but my least expensive actual pocket knife was $90, and that was a Sage 1. I'm really looking for an Endura with grey handles.

In the Endura? It's VG10. My 2 Benchmades have S30V, and so does my Spyderco.
