No just... No. I saw this on 9gag (sorry) and I honestly shed a tear. 15 trees to one test and I just have to say that is a load of ******** mctestecocks. most paper is made from Pine Trees and the average pine tree is 60ft tall and 1ft in diameter so lets say about 81,430
pi * radius^2 * length (in inches) = volume. Now, not all this is made into paper its about a 46% yeild so about 741 pounds of paper. 500 sheets of paper is 5lb. 741 * 50 = 37050 sheets of paper

FOR THE TL;DR
a tree makes 37050 sheets of paper and unless your exam is 555750 sheets long you can STFU

Your average pulpwood tree produces around 8,500 sheets of standard copier paper. So if your class size is 30 students and each student's exam is 4,250 pages long...

SEEMS LEGIT.

I hate when my teachers tell me not to use a lot of paper to "Save Trees". Fact of the matter is, those trees she's trying to "save" are already cut down. The school doesn't give a **** either. There will always be demand for paper, therefore, you are not saving the trees. Just because you don't use the paper, doesn't mean someone else wont.

Trees are a renewable resource. Anybody who's played Minecraft knows that. Chop down a tree, plant more. Simple as that. We'll never run out.

Imagine if we had too many trees and then ran out of co2?

Lol, it takes less than half a tree for about 100 people to right 30 page exams.

Of course, were this endeavor to succeed, they would just have you take electronic exams.

You'd think the number one thing on the priority list of the companies who are cutting down the forests would be to make paper more efficiently than 15 trees for a few pieces of ******* paper.
