"I found this trolling the interwebz."

Trolling. You keep saying this word, and I do not think you know what it means.

Yeah, he means the literal ******* definition of the word, and not the internet slang you all think it means.

Lets make fun of him for it, that will be fun.
#39 to #38 - obliquezombie (02/28/2012) [-]
So yeah, I looked it up.

Choices are:
1) To sing with a full voice.
2) To sing in the manner of a round or catch.
3) To fish, either moving the pole up and down or trailing behind a boat. (for pike, I'm guessing)
4) To move (the bait) in doing this.
5) To cause to turn around or roll.
6) And last but not least, the obsolete version: to hand around.

None of these things means to sift through a database, as in the Internet, and if he's using this word as if to say he's "fishing the Internet," does that not make it a "slang term?"
#40 to #39 - wyldek (02/28/2012) [-]
Yeah, you're right. It's not the literal definition.

But it is a widely accepted slang term that means to go sifting through some medium to find something. As in fishing, in definition 3 (or 4?)

Wanna call it a tie? :P

I like your style, and I'll go ahead and call it draw!

Besides, to use "trolling" as "to fish" is kinda neat. I might start edumakating people on this.

Wait, what is this... a logical, level-headed person on Funny Junk? I like you.

I like the cut of your jib as well.

Here's to proper, well meaning gents and polite conversation.

Bully!

I apologize for my antiquated use of the slang version of "trolling".

Also, this is my favorite thread. Thumbs up for all!

OH MY GOD, I have to do this project for calculus where we use an enclosed region on a graph and find the area of the figure with shapes on top (pic somewhat related), this is PERFECT

In the event that this doesn't work, anyone have suggestions for other shapes?
