I do that sometimes .... but it's not the same, if anything harder to manoeuvre.

Small compact case meaning a small fan and confined space making it an oven causing the Processor to over heat while running High grade games = Gaming wannabe.

My Sager gaming laptop costs $800 less than the Razer and has the AMD 6990M (pretty much parallel in power to the GTX 580M, the most powerful graphics card you can get on a laptop without Crossfire or SLI). That's the problem with companies like Alienware and Razer. Prices are ridiculous.
User avatar #114 to #112 - Sepins (02/23/2012) [-]
Does your laptop also have LED buttons, LCD screen touchpad, a touchpad in a logical location for gaming, and 8gb of ram?
User avatar #116 to #114 - auesis (02/23/2012) [-]
Yes, it has 8GB of RAM, and LED buttons are completely stupid and a waste of money. They look flash, but will not be properly supported by any games ever bar one or two that Razer beg them to code for.

>Touchpad for gaming
>Touchpad
>Gaming

LOL. Mouse any day, thanks.
#126 to #116 - crowbarwarrior (02/23/2012) [-]
Yea but admit it if you could get the led's for free you would right?
User avatar #135 to #126 - auesis (02/23/2012) [-]
I have a taskbar for a reason. Plus, they take up way too much room on the keyboard.
#136 to #135 - crowbarwarrior (02/23/2012) [-]
oh i didnt mean those i mean the lights between the keys and through them
User avatar #139 to #136 - auesis (02/23/2012) [-]
I already have underlit keys.
#140 to #139 - crowbarwarrior (02/23/2012) [-]
ah...im a dumbass
User avatar #141 to #140 - auesis (02/23/2012) [-]
Nah you're not, I never mentioned them in the first place.
User avatar #118 to #116 - Sepins (02/23/2012) [-]
I'm just saying, that's probably where the 800 bucks is going into. R&D for the touchpad stuff/LED buttons. Also, they're marketing it as a laptop that won't need a mouse (from what I've heard about it a long time ago)
User avatar #119 to #118 - auesis (02/23/2012) [-]
Well they've got it all wrong from the beginning. That 800 bucks is something I would NEVER spend for such useless crap. The keyboard area is bloated, mostly useless and can't even fit all the proper buttons without the stupid sliding **** as if the keyboard has a second page. It's a gimmick, and is not practical in any way.

They're also stupid in thinking a proper hardcore gamer will even think of not using a mouse. A touchpad is a death sentence in anything except **** like Minecraft.
User avatar #117 to #114 - Timmietim (02/23/2012) [-]
It's 800$ cheaper.
User avatar #350 - whersmydinerbtch (02/23/2012) [-]
Only $2,800 a piece!? I'll take 2!
User avatar #271 - bloodyspy (02/23/2012) [-]
I wanted... but then I realized it's made for the right-handed.
User avatar #177 - CiaranPM (02/23/2012) [-]
... And here are my laptop specs

-GTX 560m 3gb
-i7 2670m 2.2ghz
-16 gb RAM

It was $1350. I could care less about flashy lcds buttons and whatnot.
