To be honest, I've played Dead Space 2, and the only thing I found even remotely scary was the jump scares, and most of the time you could see them coming anyway. The rest was just overly gory and grotesque.

anonymous (02/18/2012) [-] Amnesia offers the same, just without weapons. In dead space you get a weapon and you can defend yourself. Which means that 70% of the fright is gone. Here you don't have that choice. You're always the pray. That makes it alot more frightening.
