actually the mere mention of a lightsaber is in turn a reference to the force because the ability to wield a lightsaber requires an understanding of the force as it would be nearly impossible to use the lightsaber otherwise. As a arc of pure energy, the blade has no mass, and would be entirely unruly in the hands of a person not able to apply the powers of the force. that is why your characters in Knights of the Old Republic had to have force training to be able to use lightsabers.

Ya but the Eragon movie sucked in comparison to the books.

I was talking about the the books, the movie was horrible, they made it so they could never do the sequels

Begins the same as the book, but the Ra'Zac are weird ninja things made out of beetles and underbrush that Durza summons, Brom turns the farm into one giant funeral pyre instead of Eragon taking Garrow to Carvahall and having him die there. The put Yazuac, Daret and Teirm together in Daret I believe, they make angela some young hot chick (solembum doesn't say shit) and never even mention her again.
Eragon and Brom kill the Ra'Zac while riding. Brom and Eragon go to Gil'ead to rescue Arya, and they just break in instead of getting ambushed and Eragon breaking out, Murtagh shows up and shoots Durza in the forehead, after Durza launches a spear at Eragon but Brom jumps in the way and gets killed. Murtagh then shows up and accompanies Eragon after Brom's death (no crystal tomb south of Dras-Leona) they go to the Varden where everything proceeds as normal, but the twins aren't there and Murtagh doesn't get released and is allowed to fight, he breaks out and starts fighting.

All in all, pretty shitty compared to the books.

They completely fucked over the Ra'Zac, they made them spirit/demon things made of beetles and deadfall instead of being horrible creatures that not even nightmares would touch, plus they killed them, and fucked up how Brom died

Good point ! Maybe a picture of some sith using lighting or someone getting force pushed? Still would require some explaining if the person has never watched Star Wars.. But lets be real.. Who has never watched Star Wars, or heard of the force?
