Catholics are Christians. You may be referring to Protestants. Most Catholics only see the Pope as a figure-head and do not take everything he says as fact. In the future please show appropriate respect and tolerance to things that you are ignorant of. Thank you and have a nice day.

No they're not anon. so **** you.
but if you must know, Catholicism is Dogma based off the Bible.
They interpret the Bible with differently, and back in the 1600s if you had another religion besides Catholic, you're ****** .
IN the 1600s it was all "The Pope said so" and he was basically another ******* King.
If **** had to be processed, it'd go thru the Pope as well.....
IN the bible it says you shouldnt worship anyone else besides God.

Why the **** do catholics worship saints?
Why the **** is the Pope so damn important?
Anon, you're bitch the end.

Also, your picture is V wearing a Guy Fawkes mask, and Guy Faes attempted to blow up Parliament so that the Pope could rule England. He was like the Osama Bin Laden for Catholics. Congratulations, you're one of the dumbest people I've ever seen on the internet, and holy **** does that say a lot.

The English and Dutch, two of the most powerful nations in the world in the 1600s were Protestant. Catholics don't worship saints, they honor them, that's like saying you worship your teachers. The Pope is a leader, not a god, only the Catholic countries actually listened to him, England became Protestant specifically because they didn't like the Pope since he didn't let Henry VIII get a divorce in 1534. All of Christianity is based off of the Bible, with slight differences in interpritation and practice. scatmanjosh, you have no idea what you are talking about and your grammar and spelling is atrocious. The End.

You're either a troll or an idiot. Worst case scenario I wasted 5 minutes trying to correct someone who's pretending to be stupid, best case scenario I at least TRIED to educate an irrational, angry person. The Pope is infallible only in official Church decrees. Things like the Sacraments are based on his infallibility. Anything else he says is just a suggestion, based on Roman law (more open) rather than Anglo law (which is what the American legal system is based on, and is much more strict). So anti-contraception? A suggestion to protect the sanctity of life as Catholics see it, you won't go to hell for wrapping your willie. The Pope is a rock for the Church, plain and simple. The saints aren't worshiped, they're honored as humans who lead an exceptional religious life, and live as an example.

TL;DR you're an idiot who starts problems for no good reason. Congratulations you're a hateful human being. Dig yourself a deep hole and have someone bury you alive, because I'm done with people like you.
