Autism is truly fascinating; the disorder inhibits socio-communication skills, but leaves creativity and memory capacity. I saw this documentary on an autistic pianist who could play any song simply by hearing it one time because the piano was almost all he knew how to do. A friend of mine has an autistic brother, and he uses music as an outlet of expression and creativity.

My younger brother has autism. When he was younger, he would get all his toys and line them up according to size, color, etc. Now he's 11 and I've noticed now that he likes to take apart his toys and random objects around the house with a screwdriver, and put them together again, trying to figure out how they work.
Pic unrelated.

Very remarkable, yet I still fail to see the reason this picture is on the front page of a funny website without it being funny.

That's the thing about autistic people, they may be lacking in areas like social skills, but are amazing at other things, like math, music, or drawing. It's interesting how that works.
