>Fight on American side anyways
>Get shot in an arm holding a live grenade

He's also the Senator of Hawaii, of all places.

Daniel Inouye. Look him up if you're doubtful of the badassery.

That man was a hero. I don't care what anyone one says, the Allied forces that fought at any point in time are all heros.

Everything is wrong with humanity these days. Why did America send in soldiers to Vietnam? Why doesn't media share important stuff with us?
And last but not least, even though this guy is a badass hero, why do people keep on sharing stuff that aren't funny here?

^^The text in pic: Ed W. "Too Tall" Freeman (November 20, 1927 - August 20, 2008) was a United States Army helicopter pilot who received the U.S. military's highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, for his actions in the Battle of Ia Drang during the Vietnam War. During the battle, he flew through gunfire numerous times, bringing supplies to a trapped American battalion and flying dozens of wounded soldiers to safety. Freeman was a wing-man for Major Bruce Crandall who also received the Medal of Honor for the same missions.

There's a LOT of pro war opinions in the media .. This man might be a hero, but i don't think that it would be apropiate to honor him on the news .

I hate war .. I hate the whole "GOD BLESS the soldiers" mentality

I say: Less war coverage in the media

Can you help me out a little? I literally cannot think of what choice I wanna take for the military. I just can't decide.
User avatar #698 to #693 - pokemasterbaker (02/02/2012) [-]
(OP) Well...What would you be more interested in doing as a job?
User avatar #714 to #698 - marinepenguin (02/02/2012) [-]
Thats something else altogether, since I'm interested in so many things. But what I can't decide is, should I go military and get a full ride to college, go to college then military, go to a military academy and get schooling and military training, or go and get officer training. And neither of my parents want me to go at all, even though my dad is a vet of the first gulf war.
Sorry, I know that this is a bit much but I need some kind of help.
