If she knows what a floppy disk is... She's too old.
User avatar #112 - KillYourself (01/05/2012) [-]
I never had any use for a floppy disk because I didn't have a computer at home back in elementary

i prefer a full size glock, something like the glock 21 or 17.
#73 to #45 - flanderson (01/05/2012) [-]
Just picked up a 2nd gen. glock 21 from a gun show the other day. Condition like new, and got it for $415. Great gun.
#110 to #45 - mrgordons (01/05/2012) [-]
Friend of mine killed himself with a Glock 17, ironic because one of the best features is the magazine capacity (the 21 holds 13 rounds of .45 ACP)

how is it the fault of the fault of the gun?
User avatar #134 to #133 - mrgordons (01/05/2012) [-]
I didn't say it was...ever... read what I said. I was pointing out the irony that it can hold more bullets than most handguns, but for suicide one shot is enough.
User avatar #135 to #134 - topguntin (01/05/2012) [-]
you actually can get extended mags for the G17and 21. the 17 has 33 round extended mags and i believe it's 28 rounds for G21.
User avatar #136 to #135 - mrgordons (01/05/2012) [-]
That is pretty awesome. Glock makes a fine pistol, in 2 years (when I get a gun) it will be a toss up between a glock 21 or a HK .45.
User avatar #138 to #136 - topguntin (01/05/2012) [-]
i think glocks are cheaper.
User avatar #139 to #138 - mrgordons (01/05/2012) [-]
Half price of the HK... I will probably just buy something cheaper though :(
#51 to #45 - HOtaconE (01/05/2012) [-]
I believe the 21 model is not sold to the general public, is it?
User avatar #57 to #51 - VikingSharkPANCH (01/05/2012) [-]
Thats the Glock 18, which is a fully auto pistol. The 21 is the same as the 17, just in a .45 caliber round instead of a 9mm
#62 to #57 - HOtaconE (01/05/2012) [-]
Oh. Has been a while since I read on handguns. I do know Glocks are standard issue for security companies here in Israel. *facepalm* We develop the Uzi, the most commonly used weapon among security, and instead our security officers use a handgun you can buy as a citizen.
User avatar #84 to #62 - VikingSharkPANCH (01/05/2012) [-]
Yeah, but that's not to say that Uzi is a bad weapon. The Glock is the most reliable, full proof gun on the market. It has been shot underwater, in mud, sand, dirt, in the heat and humidity of the jungle, in the freezing artic, its been frozen solid in ice and thrown 200 ft in the air and it shoots straight every time. Its not to say that IDI guns are by any means bad, the Desert Eagle is in fact one of my favorite guns (in .50AE), but the Glock is just a purpose built, all-weather, survivalist and hell raiser of a gun.
#142 to #84 - HOtaconE (01/06/2012) [-]
Speaking of IDI weapons, I know Israeli forces are slowly switching to the Tavor from the M16 family. Any idea what assault rifles the US forces are switching to? Or are they still using the M16 derivatives as standard issue?
User avatar #143 to #142 - VikingSharkPANCH (01/07/2012) [-]
I think they are sticking with the M16 derivatives (M16A4, M4, SAW, etc)
