ya i got a promotion bottle of coke before and the bottles were all gold. i took a mouthfull and it was 7up inside!!!
User avatar #6 to #5 - QCGunslinger (12/03/2011) [-]
7up is Pepsi Co., not coke. So it was probably Sprite.
User avatar #76 to #6 - sunice (12/04/2011) [-]
Actually 7up is Dr.Pepper, not Pepsi

Fanta was invented accidentally when a group of German scientists were trying to duplicate the Coca Cola recipe.

Epic fail/win?
User avatar #33 to #28 - Ruspanic (12/04/2011) [-]
Actually, it was created by Coca-Cola in Germany so that the German branch of Coca Cola could continue to sell its products on the German market during WWII without having to import ingredients.

History lesson time:
during WWII the sale of coke products in nazi germany was falling due to the fact that "coke" is traditionally associated with America. so the Coke company decided to make a new beverage that was the opposite of coca cola in every way so that germans wouldn't know it was the same company and buy it. and thus Fanta was born!
