maximusj (12/03/2011) [-] maybe you fops in England have six hour days, but in America the class day is seven hours long (of course, most students are stupid as fuck so maybe we should go 9 or 10), teachers have to arrive before that and leave about an hour after school, several (most at the school I attended) of them have masters degrees, and the median annual income for an individual with a bachelors degree is $82,000 . . .

Anyway 6 was a mistake on my part, we get 7.Anywhere, in my country, the secondary school teaching sector is essentially a clusterfuck of underachievers who realised their dreams of marine biology wasn't going to fucking happen.I'm saying anything about American teachers because I don't know shit about them.I'm talking about our teachers, first to complain in the public sector even though the Gardaí and Nurses do so much more for the same type of pay.

I just find typically when we say "most" or "all" we're usually wrong. not all black people are niggers, not all americans are fat, etc. etc. I just get tired of ungrateful shits in industrialized countries being given free education complaining about it while children in Liberia (e.g.) would pay any money that had (if they had any) to earn an education and gain an opportunity to better their lives
