I know its a lot to read, but remember this is just a theory, that will hopefully be considered a myth. This is not said to be fact. if you think of anything else feel free to say, i want info. keep in mind the mangas are are way different then everything else about pokemon, and not seen as canon

Sweet merciful Arceus... this is by far the dumbest thing I have ever read in the history of ever.
I mean it's one thing to stretch some clues to get to where you're going, but to actually cross three different canons to do it?

I think I found a hole in the idea of Bill being Professor Oak in disguise. Pokemon 4Ever. In the movie, Oak (older form) says to himself, "Maybe I should have told him..." This implies that Oak knew his younger self was going to meet Ash. Now I know Bill has a time machine, but I find it highly unlikely that he'd go back into the past, dress up like young oak, and go through all that crap, haha. Not a major hole to the theory overall, but I thought I'd mention it.

And lets not forget you could clone pokemon in the games using the storage boxes.
If Oak was Bill when he send you off on your journey. it would explain why he couldn't remeber his grandson's name.

kenada (12/02/2011) [-] Giovanni did not create Mewtwo, he had found Mewtwo and convinced him that he could help control his powers. But Giovanni instead created the machine to control Mewtwo. Mewtwo was created on Cinnabar Island. Many scientists including Dr. Fuji and Blaine studied Mewtwo until he fled and destroyed the mansion.
And you have to consider how young Bill is. The lighthouse has to be fairly old and so does the door. The door could have been created by the previous owner.

kenada (12/02/2011) [-] The story is different in the games, anime, and manga. In the games, notes in the Mansion on Cinnabar Island tell the story of how Mewtwo was created from spiced genes from Mew, but Mewtwo fled destroying the Mansion. Giovanni later tricked Mewtwo into being with him.
In the anime, it shows Giovanni funded the project for Dr. Fuji's idea to clone pokemon to create Mewtwo from a fossil of a Mew
In the Manga, Blaine used his own DNA to spice with Mew to create Mewtwo, but they both had an illness and Mewtwo went on a rampage and hid in the Cerulean Cave, later to be reunited with Blaine by Red.
