Tell you what, man, prove that there is, and we'll stop with that no-god crap.

Because a guy who lead a group of Jews across a desert didn't need to set up guidelines for his followers.

I'm no atheist, I do believe in a very different god, but I'm just saying, I completely understand the atheist's point of view. Unless you can give physical evidence that god exists, They deserve the right to remain skeptical. But what I'm saying, is that for all we know, Moses could have written them himself, and just claimed they were given to him by god, just to buy the respect and trust of his followers.

how are you so sure the gods you believe in aren't fake?
User avatar #18 to #17 - Kamesakke (11/29/2011) [-]
Well, The god I believe in is beyond human, thus beyond human comprehension, and so are her/his/it's feelings and actions. Personally, I say what ever brings you peace and doesn't guide you into hurting other people, it's fine. Just don't be so judgmental. If your god is not human, and is above human, then he would also have beyond-human understanding and emotions. Logic = There.

The burden of proof is not on us it's on the believer. The ten commandments are absolutely not proof of god, for all we know, Moses could have written that himself.

You think god the creater of space, the sun... EVERYTHING, you think were able to see him? The cycle of water, animals, how our bodies work. There is no god?

I tried to say this in a speech at school. We had to do a timeline of our lives. I was asked if I was a premie.
