There is no set date, but They said it is not too far away. They said that they have 2 teams working, the Rage team and the Doom 4 team. They said that Doom 4 is is being made and is learning from the mistakes of the Rage team. They also say that Doom 4 will be more like the original first doom.

I think Doom 4 will hit the shelves sometime in 2012 or 2013.

peaceful and lawful are not the same, thing, the police told them to move, they didn't. so the police had to use force.

why don't you write the book on it.
police were following orders, the book and everything, if they refused to move, got pepper sprayed, after the first spray they refused, so they sprayed again, and then refused. the police were going by the book, the students in protest were going against the law, don't blame the cop.

pepper spray is a great method of crowd control, just like tear gas.

many of these protests have turned violent against the police, they were doing what was best in the situation, for everyone, if some stupid kid decided to tackle the officer, and he had to be shot or stunned or sent to jail, it would only incite further violence.
also they can't resist arrest or removal when pepper sprayed.
i would rather the police force do it's job than let someone walk off with a stolen tv because the owner "could afford another".
all police forces work like that, given an order and told to follow, but hey the last 200 years has always been plagued by bad police officers apparently.

no, but other protests where they sat on the ground turned violent, so take the chance and possibly resort to lethal force, or play it safe?
User avatar #51 to #44 - fluffymcnutter (11/25/2011) [-]
sure, let every policeman use their own judgement. That'll solve the problem. Think about what you just said

What's to say them following the orders kept them from using their batons? How do you suggest they move the protesters? And yes, they needed to be moved because they were blocking the entire pathway
User avatar #50 to #38 - fluffymcnutter (11/25/2011) [-]
uhhhh really? Cause it worked DEEEEERRRRRRRRRP

Did I say you should always listen to your superiors orders? Nope.

They were blocking the entire ******* path you stupid twat! Those paths on campuses are usually used by campus vehicles so it's not just about blocking individual people, which is also a problem.

How is keeping their arms locked, despite the cop trying to break them up, NOT physically resisting? We don't see what happened before the spraying so I assume they tried pulling them apart first, then warned them about the spraying. I'd definitely concede that if the cops went STRAIGHT to the spraying then that's completely ****** up. But considering there were plenty of people with cameras around, I doubt that's what happened

"He could of simply grabbed them to move them"

wow, did YOU watch the vid? I'm sure he could've moved a dozen people sitting on the ground with their arms locked, if he was the ******* hulk.

At the end of the video no one is resisting when he grabs them.

because they just got pepper sprayed!!!

No one was moving either when he was pepper spraying them.

not right away, no. But once that **** started to take affect that's when they decided to stop resisting, and that's the end of the video that you were referring to

seriously, did you actually watch the vid? The cop tugs and pulls at their arms and they won't even budge. What's your definition of resisting if it's not that?

No, there's no evidence that the cops try to move them first. But considering the video starts only a few seconds before the spraying there's also no evidence that they didn't try. Do you really think that despite a crowd of people with cameras surrounding them, the cops just showed up, took out the mace, and started spraying without giving ANY warning? If you seriously believe that then this conversation's done cause you're most likely a child

The cops probably gave a verbal warning. Then does not justify the use of a chemical agent of peaceful protesters.

uh ya, it really does. If they need to be moved, they don't exactly have a lot of options.

There are other videos of cops pepper spraying people doing actually what you described. There is no reason to believe that this cop would of been any different. You need evidence to prove something, not evidence to disprove something.

right, so where's your evidence to prove that they never tried moving them then giving a warning. See what I did there?

If they were never ordered to remove the protesters then that completely changes everything. I can't defend them if the campus authorities never asked them for help.

As far as this whole "evidence" argument, it goes both ways. You're making an assumption of what happened before the video starts just like I was. I realize I don't have evidence to back up what I'm assuming, but neither do you. And it may well turn out that you were right, at this point I don't care because of what you just posted, but you can't tell me that your assumptions don't need evidence but mine do
