I've always wondered... What would happen if you went into space with a jar, opened it, then closed it, and then came back to earth and put it in a vaccum sealed box, and then opened the jar... What would be in the jar?

about 3 atoms, but as soon as you exposed the jar to the normal atmosphere it would shatter inward

this is all on the basis that the Jar is perfectly sealed air tight.

So the atmosphere is dealing a constant force of 95 kN to the glass and it would basically break before it got to Earth?

there would be a few more than 3 atoms. It depends on where you open the jar. if you were in the space between super constellations, then it would be 3 atoms

Just want you to know that I hit next, came to your post, and skipped because i saw ponies.

But then i came back on a whim, saw the content below and realized that the post was not about ponies.

Then i thumbed the post down for not being funny, for having ponies and for wasting my life. I wrote this comment and went on my way.

the wall of china can be seen from SPACE, the myth is for space, not from the moon, in which when you just leave from earths atmosphere.

and lightning never striking the same place twice is just silly and of course it happens.

I'm sorry for having to say that, so have a chocolate helicopter.

you know..... this is a zoomed in picture. you could see your dog sitting in your garden with the right gear from space. but the thing is that the human eye can't see it. because the funny thing is that this wall is not THAT high. so you could maybe see like the shadow of it in the desert (which i heard once) but you cannot see the structure itself.

so you could see any man made structure from space, if you zoom in. so that argument doesn't really count.

conclusion: you CAN'T see the Great Wall of China from space.

" "In Earth's orbit at a height of 160 to 320 kilometers [100-200 miles], the Great Wall of China is indeed visible to the naked eye," says astronaut Eugene Cernan."
