Thought this would be useful to some of you "computerly challenged" FJers.... Considering the amount of people who cant take a screenshot and ask others to do this I figured you can use it.

I just hide it in the Rainmeter skins' folders where the files for custom skins are contained

1. Right click folders hit properties
2. At the bottom check off hidden
3. Go to control panel and go to folder options and hit view tab at the top
4. Where it says hidden folders you can switch between show hidden folders and hide hidden folders, when you show them they are transparent and when you hide them you cant even see them in the archives.

A friend of mine once had her laptop over for me to fix.
The next day she called me and asked if I had emptied her recycle bin, which I had (Dunno why, just a habit I have). It turns out she had put some documents there to keep them hidden from her little sister!

anonymous (10/30/2011) [-] I did this, then i did this two more times inside those folders with other folders and stuff, like tools for 'hacking' etc, then leading into a 'corrupt' folder with a .log file (make a .txt file then change it to a .log, it opens the same anyway) in it that reports a 'boot sector load fail' and asks you to contact an the most beautiful man in the world. Then theres my beautiful stash, sitting right there. Oh, also i put my desktop gadgets over the original folder as well =D

andriod (10/30/2011) [-] I remember I used to hide mine by creating a 3 dimensional wallpaper using some program. so you could put some folders on one of the dimensional planes, and then move the focus back to whichever plane you wanted them to see.
Its way to overly complex but I never got caught so it served its purpose well.
