I always cook some carrots and celery, sometimes mushrooms and chicken if I have it and put it aside. Then I boil the water, add the noodles and let it cook for a minute, before adding one beaten egg, the flavor packet and the vegetables and stirring until its finished.  Voila, delicious

I boil the noodles until they're just not-quite-done, then throw some garlic, sesame oil, finely chopped onion, shredded chicken, shredded cabbage and the seasoning and fry it for a few minutes, then throw the noodles and a bit of teriyaki sauce in and fry it for a minute or so more.

I've never been able to enjoy egg in noodles, but I'll nom the hell out of rice with egg, or homemade chicken soup with egg white.

I'm suddenly regretting getting pizza for dinner. :(
