Kudos to the Brits, too, of course.

So it's 100% OC cause you changed it from British to American... Seems Legit.

so by 100% OC you mean just added 1 panel onto a previously posted comic ?

Isn't it a British in the original version?

Just like how the book Lord of the Flies is British, but the movies are about Americans.
American's can't seem to accept other countries...

on french flags the blue and red bits are velcro so if they're ever invaded they can prepare for war faster

Don't understand why Americans try to take so much credit for D-Day.

Most of the troops weren't American, It was under British command and was originally planned and devised by the British.

Not saying Americans didn't help a **** load. America just seem to be that guy who scores after being passed the ball for the last 2m after someone already ran solo with it a 60m and then tries to take all the credit for it and acts like he did it himself.

The Americans faced the worst of the fighting. Canadian and British forces (who made up 50% of the landing forces) faced relatively light resistance. The poor suckers on Omaha Beach faced resistance that was far heavier than expected during an operation in which pretty much nothing went to plan. Deaths on most of the beaches were always in the hundreds; deaths at Omaha reached 3000.

Before you say "HURR DURR AMERICAN BEING STOOPID," I'm British. I'm just being fair. The reason we think mainly of Omaha and American sacrifice when we think of D-Day is because the American sacrifice was far greater.

My dad told me a similar story about my grandfather who was a bomber.
After WW2 ended he (my grandfather) become a commercial pilot and the first time he had to fly to Germany he got confused about the way the runways/tarmacs were organized. But in doing this he delays some flights and air traffic control were getting pissed and were yelling at him "Haven't you been here before!!" He replied with "I was here once in the 40's but i didn't land."

in 1944 there were no french in normandy because USA could've joind the world war like from the beginning and it would have ended so much quicker...
but Roosevelt was a "great" tactician and wanted to rule the world after WW2,

just so u know about that :)

Nazi's were the most powerful in the world at that point.
More powerful than americas army.
The only reason America did any kind of help was due to France, Britain and Russia wearing them down
