My sister bet me $50 her iPhone was more durable than my $20 Samsung.. We tested this by dropping them from a height of roughly 1 meter.. Guess who's got a samsung still and is $50 richer? :D

I agree, always proprietary, always forcing compliance, always doing things for you whether you want it or not always refusing to do things you do want them to do and mysteriously breaking down and breaking down hard. I loath apple products and I find that most people that like them are those who require the autopilot-like oversimplification and limitation of options.
