well, I do it because my eyebrows are naturally totally blonde, so I have to make them darker in order to be able to see them at all.. my eyebrows would look so bushy if I didn't pluck 'em.

really, plucking is for making your eyebrows nicely shaped, drawing is for making them look darker. That's the way I see it, anyway.

If they want to look natural then why do that? To look natural you don't use make up. Mine are light but I don't do this, I don't feel the need to do this.
Some women are just idiotic. -Coming from a woman.

True, but I still think it would just be easier to get your eyes dyed along with your hair.

p.s. in my last few comments I may have sounded kind of mean, but I swear I didn't mean it like that.

some people don't realize that makeup is supposed to look natural and not noticeable, like the girl in the last picture

i get mine waxed. plucking them out one by one is just torture
User avatar #33 to #19 - SunshineCabbage (06/06/2011) [-]
i agree.. but i get mine threaded
User avatar #34 to #33 - ragazzaitaliana (06/06/2011) [-]
i've never heard of that. what is it?
User avatar #41 to #34 - SunshineCabbage (06/06/2011) [-]
the one doing the threading will get two thin threads and twist them together, then gently roll them over the hairs. it can remove a row of hairs at a time, giving a really nice defined eyebrow :)
User avatar #43 to #41 - ragazzaitaliana (06/06/2011) [-]
that sounds and looks kinda painful (looked up a youtube tutorial)
User avatar #44 to #43 - SunshineCabbage (06/06/2011) [-]
yeahh it is at first :P but like plucking, you get used to the pain, and then for me it's worth it :)
User avatar #23 to #19 - LivClaire (06/06/2011) [-]
ya, I wish I could get mine waxed. But tweezers are cheaper and I don't have a lot of spending money.
User avatar #26 to #23 - ragazzaitaliana (06/06/2011) [-]
that's true. sometimes my sister uses my dad's electric nose hair trimmer on her eyebrows. but it's okay because he never uses it.. i think

lol, but ewww.

User avatar #30 to #29 - ragazzaitaliana (06/06/2011) [-]
she uses it on her boyfriend too because he has bushy eyebrows. then she plucks them. poor guy :(
User avatar #35 to #30 - LivClaire (06/06/2011) [-]
lol, once my friend asked me to pluck her eyebrows, I plucked one and she told me it wasn't worth it.
User avatar #36 to #35 - ragazzaitaliana (06/06/2011) [-]
i tried plucking mine the other day, i pulled a few that were oddly loose and then quit because it was painful. i'm getting them waxed soon for summer so they won't be so severe
User avatar #40 to #36 - LivClaire (06/06/2011) [-]
Ya, I'm such a wimp it takes me an hour to do them.
Feels bad man.
User avatar #45 to #40 - ragazzaitaliana (06/06/2011) [-]
speaking of being a wimp, my mom used to have to clip my fingernails for me because i thought it hurt really badly but i do them myself now and it takes me forever because i'm so careful.
but back to eyebrows, i like to get them waxed because it's all done with one big OUCH
User avatar #48 to #45 - LivClaire (06/06/2011) [-]
Yup! One big ouch is much better than a million tiny OW's!
User avatar #51 to #48 - ragazzaitaliana (06/06/2011) [-]
hahahha yup that's my eyebrow philosophy! my friend and i are half italian so we have hairy eyebrows. apparently she decided to pluck them herself and she said she started crying because it hurt so bad but then she (wo)manned up and did it anyway
User avatar #53 to #51 - LivClaire (06/06/2011) [-]
Wow I wish a had that high of of tolerance for pain. oh well........

It's not ******* attractive..

I mean, that's your goddamn eyebrow, putting marker where that's supposed to be just seems silly.
#54 to #39 - Giachianeo (06/06/2011) [-]
Actually, this really pretty girl I know has super thin eyebrows, so she has to do it so it doesn't look like they aren't there.
User avatar #57 to #54 - DeathCubeK (06/06/2011) [-]
Really?

In my town the only pretty girls are the ones who don't wear make up, honest to god.

#62 to #57 - Giachianeo (06/06/2011) [-]
Nice place you must live in >_>

Lemme put it this way.

You don't have a nose, in some alternate universe. Then, you discover that you can use makeup (I don't know how it's an alternate universe) to put on a nose that looks and seems real, and your life can be relatively normal.

Plus she doesn't wear much other make-up and is actually pretty without the eyebrow **** too :P
User avatar #63 to #62 - DeathCubeK (06/06/2011) [-]
Makes sense, though some people definitely take it too far, with the make-up thing.
#64 to #63 - Giachianeo (06/06/2011) [-]
Which is why I've taken every girl I've ever liked swimming at least once.

If they're wearing so much makeup they look beastly without it (or beastly with it, rather) it's good for later lulz.
