Actually neutrally effective, tentacruel is part poison, and ground is super effective against that. so in turn the damage calculation would go something like this... 60x.5x1.5x(users physical attack -defenders physical def)....... i am so alone.....

Actually, it does fair damage. There are Rock type Pokemon and Ground type Pokemon. The two always had me confused because every fucking Pokemon that was always both of them. Dig happens to be a Ground type move which does regular damage.
