i get all teary when i think that pretty much everything i do is pointless...

really makes you realize just how insignificant we all are... from the discovery of fire to the atom bomb, everything we know, what we have done, and what we are rests gently on that small blue speck in the first picture. tell me now that god created just us. tell me how we are so special to be the gem of the cosmos, that there cant be life elsewhere, then take good hard look at this picture. tell me how much we matter.

....which means its technically impossible for there to NOT be other forms of life anywhere else.

now i feel small and alone and suddenly scared....
