The London riots were mostly comprised of students complaining about tuition hikes. "THE RENTS TO DAMN HIGH!"

What we know so far about the Egypt "demonstrations" is that they are complaining about a murderous dictator who allowed the slaughter of thousands of his own people.

I'd say there is quite a difference.

One of the key policies that got the Liberal Democrats the majority of their votes and got them to power was the promise to abolish student fees.
Instead, once in power, they allow student fees to rise from 3000 a year, to 9000 a year.
Yes, the Egyptian protest is against a murderous leader, but the rising of student fees has denied an entire generation the possibility with a higher education and a chance of a better future. And David Cameron completely fails to see that believing that higher education opportunities should be based on household income.
A large majority of students at my University come from a household of under 20,000 a year and put more hours and effort into their studies than those of higher income

I don't think we can blame Cameron for his thinking process, he's obviously got stockholm syndrome.

Anarchist logic: We're angry that the state is reducing it's input into higher education! Let's smash the state, so there is no state provision at all into higher education!!!!

Seriously, I'm a young person and about to enter Uni, but when I see fucking morons like this packing up the streets waving banners and talking about economics when half of them couldn't tell supply and demand from their own fucking ringpiece, it pisses me off.

Not a double standard. England has a very stable government, Egypt does not.
