...HOLY **** .
If we can make that, I wouldn't be surprised if they started mass producing Gundams.

The A-10's are more destructive, so they won't.

They are working on it. There are functional exoskeletons that are in their prototype stage. Right now they are too big, bulky and slow to use in combat but the air force is planning on using them to load bombs and missiles onto planes like this. I guess if the Air force dug their nails into this project we will have flying suits of armor in like50 to 100 years.

I also know there is some guy that claims if he had money he would be a real life Tony Stark and he DOES has fully functional suits that can protect the wears from bullets, explosions, and getting hit by cars. I have a magazine with an article about him in if you want me to dig through my stacks of magazines to find it.

Is this so? Does your gun cost $200,000 to fire for twelve seconds? I didn't think so.

if that even skimmed your skin you wouldn't have a shoulder.

The shock wave emitted from the round passing through you would literally blow you in half.

And to the statement about 2 of everything, ALL military/civilian transport aircraft have redundant systems.
From a 727 to a F-18 to a A-10, they all have redundant life support, targeting, fuel allocation, thrust control, adjustable flight surfaces, etc.

When you (the government/private aircraft manufacturers) put $60 million + into a single aircraft you want it to make it home.
#637 to #634 - QuertyTheDuck (12/16/2010) [-]
no, if that thing came close to your shoulder, you would completely twist around

I think the A-10 is even better looking then the F-18. And that it's awesome. almost as cool as the pelican(although with lower crash rates)
