Agreed. But it wasn't a harder game because of the enemies or the bosses. You just wanted to 100% it for that Fierce Deity Mask, but that sure was hell was harder than 100% on Ocarina of Time.

Also Majora's Mask is better because of how dark and gloomy it was. Go around on the last day and see how many people just accept the fact they are gonna die. It rubs off on you. If you're a kid, you end up getting a ******* anxiety attack seeing that moon so close on the last day.

whats wrong with cod and halo? sure the stories arent as strong but they revolutionized online play, which is possibly the best thing that came from video games

The game that revolutionized Online Play was Phantasy Star Online, which was probably (Not sure) the first online game on a console. The games that revolutionized ONLINE SHOOTING GAMES were Halo and CoD, but again, that's only one genre. Story wise, Zelda wins. Gameplay wise, Zelda still probably wins, but that one is more focused on your preferences. Online play wise, they win.

it just seems like halo and cod are more important because honetsly fps are wat EVERYONE plays and the way how they connect people is more astounding then other games even though those connections are breif

Why? It has worse graphics, substantially shorter and easier, not nearly enough sidequests or extra doodles and whatnot, and is just all around not as good as Twilight. Twilight is just the better game.

It's like saying Pokemon Red is better than, say, FireRed. It has a lot less Pokemon, a limited backpack of about 20 items, and you can't even run, so walking's a bitch.

In Twilight, the world is ******* HUGE, and Epona is actually a standard of the game, as opposed to being limited to 3 small areas.

dude... **** grapics, storyline is amazing... and fun... The ater temple was harder... Ocarina of Time had a great landscape and great features for a N64. AND LET ME REPHRASE THAT Ocarina is better than Twilight... for realz

Why, though? Okay, **** graphics, then, sure. The story isn't actually great. Most of it has been assumed by the fanbase after we saw what Majora's was. It's a weird fanfiction, and that's not very, erm, enthralling.
The water temple was not hard. I beat that ****** in a very short time. People talk about how confusing it is, but the only problem is having to constantly go back and change the water level, then basically re-do the dungeon. Lame.
Great landscape? No. It can easily be broken because of it's polygonal nature. I can't count how many times I've fallen through the ground trying to backflip from an attack. It's just a lame game that pales in comparison to it's legacy.
Nostalgia, btw, is what you have, "seeing only the good".

Think of what a groundbreaker the game was back in the day. They accomplished quite a feat with such cryptic equipment, what with the length of the game, the size of it, and the animation. Now, it's easy to achieve these sorts of things. Technology was a lot better than it was seven years previously. Ocarina of Time set a lot of standards for the series, one great example being the use of Epona. The characteristics of the dungeons can also be attributed to OoT. All Twilight does is improve upon the foundation already built by its predecessors.
There's a reason certain games are considered classics. And IMO, nostalgia is when you remember/relive the emotions you had during the experience. Bias has nothing to do with it.

Okay, but now, comparing them, which is better? Not which you prefer, but which is technically the better game? Twilight.

And nostalgia is when you remember only the good points. You can't think back on being raped with nostalgia, but you can remember bad movies as a child with nostalgia, and that's how most people remember Ocarina. If I gave both to a kid who never played games before, and didn't tell them the fan-history of the game, he'd probably prefer Twilight.

You can't just ask which is the better game, it's not fair. With that simple a question you could compare something like Duck Hunt to a Wii Cabella game. Same concept, but it is unfair to rank Duck Hunt the same as you would a modern hunting game. Of course more fits on a CD than a cartridge. More room means more content and annoying sidequests, better graphical detail, etc. Twilight goes for quantity rather than quality. Besides, they removed most of the things their fans had fallen in love with in the series. For me, the most missed were the magic abilities and musical instrument you could use whenever you wanted.

You didn't have to repeat your definition of nostalgia, it doesn't change my opinion. nostalgia: longing for something past

Well, we are talking about the post made here, keep in mind. It says "every game". And yeah, I missed the Ocarina, but still, I didn't miss the crappier version of fishing. What they took out that was good was replaced by something of equal essence, but of different type. I definitely preferred that weird, jump off a cliff with a cuckoo and gather rupees over several different minigames that Ocarina had (only about 3, anyways). And Twilight Princess did keep up quality. The story, as I've already made note, is much better. It's got more character development, and has more pull than Ocarina.
And I can ask which of the two is the better game. People hold Ocarina as the best game "of all time", and it just never will be.

Do you get to turn into a wolf, go through an alternate dimension, and basically be there for what you missed during those 7 years of Ocarina? No.

And don't worry, I'm not saying that your opinion is wrong (hell, I agree) but Twilight Princess is still technically the better game.
