x = your age
add 5 + mutilply 50 is to get a high number
when you add 1760 it basically resets the number and the last two digits will the answer you get by subtracting *your birth date* with 2010.
for example, let's say my number is 0 (normally not possible)
0+5 = 5. 5 x 50 = 250. 250 + 1760 = 2010, which is the year. Any number that exceeds this will not matter, as the multiplication parts will make it so the last numbers will always equal to *your age* subtracted from the year.
The part where you say you haven't have your birthday or not is if you have, you are 1 age older, and if you haven't your still younger.
Then once you subtract your birthdate, you will get your age

it will always work no matter what number you chose to begin with, if you choose 0 you will get a 2 digit number that is your age, if you choose 1 you'll get a 3 digit number starting with 1 that'll have your age at the end and so on.
