User avatar #39 to #15 - theturtletorres (09/30/2013) [-]
Huh.... I always spelled it "Okey dokey."
#37 - magnumrevolver (09/30/2013) [-]
Oki doki, poki Loki.
Wanna sing some kareoki,
Then we'll have a little smoki,
While we do the hoki poki.
User avatar #38 to #37 - mereu (09/30/2013) [-]
That is the best bad poetry I've ever heard.

That's not how you spell me!

the spear thingie isnt even touching his chest.
#17 to #6 - anon (09/30/2013) [-]
You probably can't pick up the very tip of the spear because of how sharp it is or how thin the point is
User avatar #25 to #17 - sanguinesolitude (09/30/2013) [-]
well the arc reactor was first put there to keep pieces of iron from moving through his heart, meaning it has a magnetic field.
User avatar #43 to #25 - dontdeletemyuser (09/30/2013) [-]
it it was there to keep things from moving towards his heart, it would be attracting **** . so the spear would hit the arc reactor none the less.

Shrapnel*
User avatar #45 to #29 - sanguinesolitude (09/30/2013) [-]
which is in this case small pieces of iron
User avatar #21 - sinery (09/30/2013) [-]
But why didn't it work?
User avatar #28 to #21 - heartlessrobot (09/30/2013) [-]
Because, it hit the arc reactor, not skin.
User avatar #30 to #28 - sinery (09/30/2013) [-]
Pretty sure he knew about the arc reactor, so when he poked it and it didn't work the logic thing to do would be to poke someplace else.
Just checking so that I didn't miss anything.
User avatar #44 to #30 - allanenraged (09/30/2013) [-]
It didnt work because the arc reactor almost completely replaces Tony's heart.
User avatar #32 to #30 - heartlessrobot (09/30/2013) [-]
I doubt an alien god would stop and think "Oh, this mortal has a massive chunk of metal and radioactive material imbedded in his chest". It would never occur to him.
User avatar #33 to #32 - sinery (09/30/2013) [-]
No, but the huge shiny round thingy sure would be suspicious if ones magic spontaneously failed.
User avatar #34 to #33 - heartlessrobot (09/30/2013) [-]
I don't think he could see it through the shirt.
User avatar #35 to #34 - sinery (09/30/2013) [-]
Fair enough.
He still should have ripped his throat out or something though.
User avatar #36 to #35 - heartlessrobot (09/30/2013) [-]
That's not how Loki rolls.
#31 to #30 - lordraine (09/30/2013) [-]
It didn't work because it takes control of people's hearts, and Tony has a machine in his. They said the first bit when they explained how it works. It's not that hard to figure out.
User avatar #27 to #21 - bruinslover (09/30/2013) [-]
"Performance issues?"
#22 to #21 - anon (09/30/2013) [-]
because of Tony's arc reactor in his chest, it kinda blocked Loki from getting to his heart
User avatar #24 to #22 - sinery (09/30/2013) [-]
If that was the case one should think to tap somewhere else.
User avatar #41 to #24 - vos (09/30/2013) [-]
Maybe the staff takes control through the heart and Tony's arc reactor negates it's effect somehow, so poking him somewhere else wouldn't work either
User avatar #42 to #41 - sinery (09/30/2013) [-]
I think poking it someplace else would make him very cooperative.
