Was there not just a post yesterday about how resilient the human body is and how we can just get up from trauma that would leave any other animal to die?

He moved around a lot when he hit the ground therefore most of his momentum was expended through sliding/spinning. Also, wearing his brain bucket helped a lot. SCIENCE! AWAY!!!!!!!!

Just look at the first dummy who flies away and takes forever to fall back.

Get launched 50 and watching all that below you would suck. Then realize your going to fall 50 onto a bunch of people, body parts, and metal would suck more.

What kind of car is this? So I'll never accidentally buy one.
#17 to #2 - anon (09/13/2013) [-]
but.. but... the car itself holds pretty well there.. only the dummies weren't wearing seatbelts.
#10 to #2 - anon (09/13/2013) [-]
most likely a Ford explorer but I could be wrong but they are actually pretty good vehicles. You just have to know how to control every car you drive. I'm no expert but I know how to handle my cars. Always wear a seat belt for starters too.

It is time to rise up, my brothers! Take the fight to those who would use as test dummies!
the game is cortex command, you can control robotic crash test dummies, and shoot people. check it out.

I may not know much about crash testing, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and call that a failure.

Whhhuuuu. Nope. No.

No top heavy SUV's for me.
User avatar #9 to #6 - olinerocks ONLINE (09/13/2013) [-]
Its called driving within the limits of your car. I wouldn't drive a mustang off-road, just like I wouldn't drive an explorer on a track
#11 to #9 - melancholytea (09/13/2013) [-]
Normally and in all circumstances I would agree but I was watching test videos for a Jeep grand cherokee where they did the "moose" test. It's just avoiding an obstacle in the road by swerving around it. Nine out of ten times a tire (or two) exploded and more than once the car would have flipped going over 30mph.

We have LOTS of deer on the back roads around my town. If you drive any where for anything, you've probably swerved hard around a deer at least one.

www.consumerreports.org/cro/news/2012/07/jeep-grand-cherokee-fails-swedish-moose-test-lessons-for-u-s-consumers/index.htm

If I can't avoid something like that going suburban speeds then I don't want to die doing 45 on a back road.
