i love any games with an awesome physics engine, i spend hours in kerbal space program trying to **** with the balance of ships to do stunts and **** , i gave up on the moon months ago.

I've made it to Mun once. It was a one-way trip, because i misjudged how much fuel i had, ran out, and ended up on an impact course with the munar surface. I also put a kerbal on a Kerbin escape orbit, and now he's stuck orbiting the sun.

i think ill just aim my rocket at the sun, for fun.

I'm loathe to think of what the poor kerbals selected for the mission would experience.

Jebediah is used to it by now

That little bastard always has a smile on his face. Even when you're about to smash him into the surface of Kerbin at 300+m/s (design malfunction, not intent )

What did they expect to happen? seriously?
User avatar #17 to #10 - kreekydoorS (09/12/2013) [-]
They probably expected exactly what happened.... They were essentially jousting.

I've done this. The pain was intense but i'm still here to reproduce. Take that Darwin.

Is it strange that I always wanted to do this?

i've always wondered, since for every action, there is an equal, but opposite reaction, and opposing force and stuff, is there any advantage to being the one holding the lance that connects with the opponent? aren't you just as likely to be thrown off yourself?

its not just inertia but that is a big part of it. We had a problem like this in my AP physics class it also has to do with speed of each jouster and horse (since both speed and motion are relative) as well as how strong each jouster/horse is
User avatar #14 to #2 - SylverSlayer (09/12/2013) [-]
basically, aim for the center of the opponent's shield, stand up a little & brace yourself against the stirrups and youll do fine
